Active Registry Monitor is a program designed by DeviceLock to keep track of what’s going on with your computer registry.
The registry is where the all history of the computer is stored. Just like a computer record. Depending on how we use it can benefit or affect the computer performance. Usually when we install or uninstall some different programs on the computer, the registry gets some files. Maybe we do not use the files anymore, but they are still there just reducing the computer memory and causing different troubles to the system.
What this program does is checks and analyzes the changes in the registry produced by the installation or uninstallation of any new program. It works by taking “snapshots” of your entire computer registry. After a “snapshot” is taken it’s automatically saved in a database.
It makes it possible to have a record (in the database) of your computer registry story and compare different “snapshots”. This allows you then, to realize what keys have been changed and/or add or removed in your system.
Active Registry Monitor even allows you to exclude some keys of the comparison to get a faster and most efficient result.
Something very important is that this becomes a really useful tool to detect the Trojans viruses. (Most of the antiviruses get some trouble to detect them)
